In line with the recent upgrades to WikiProject Mammals a bulletin board has been created to keep all members up to date with the Project, consider it similar to the Wikipedia Signpost however focused on WikiProject Mammals. I would ask that you add this page to your watchlist in order to get the latest information about WikiProject Mammals. Kind Regards

Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user Happy Holidays, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Happy New Year!

In the Manual of Style, it says there is no consistent style that needs to be maintained for this kind of writing but it should adhere to the style of the article. As the rest of the article is formatted the way I edited, why are parentheses inappropriate? I am not saying you are wrong I am just trying to understand for the future. Thank you. Parenthesis aren't a stylistic choice. For animal taxa, they indicate if that taxa name was how the author used it (no parens) or was moved after the authors naming (with parens). - UtherSRG(talk)16:22, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We have an editor Foo123 which has created a draft about the Foo tribe. As a member of the tribe they have an apparent COI. Had they created a draft about the Nation of Foo, would they also have a COI? They also appear to have a better command of the Fooian Language than of English.
Hrm.... copy-pasted back into main article space. I've reverted all of their edits from today, other than their question above, and blocked them for a week for DE. I'm edging towards a CIR indef. I think there is too much of a language barrier. - UtherSRG(talk)12:12, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. I hate it when people consider their use of an unfamiliar language is sufficient. They should edit their native language Wikipedia and have fun doing so.

Hello,
Thank you for being a mentor.
I would like to update the photo on my brother's page. I have no experience in editing pages. --SKMS333 (talk) 11:42, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
